A Little About Myself
Having discovered my passion for singing in my childhood, my earlier years found my talent flourishing as a soloist in gospel crusades, concerts and private parties until 2009. After years of growth and doing what I love, I now find myself performing with excellent musicians to the likes of renown pianist, Mike Perry, and having my music played on twenty radio stations across South Africa since 2010.
Apart from being an extremely passionate full-time singer, I am also an author and composer. Pride of Africa, composed, performed and produced by myself, has become my most popular track played on radio stations and was inspired by the Fifa Soccer World Cup in 2010.
My inspiration for composing and singing comes from the love I have for people and the situations we find ourselves in daily. Therefore, the remaining tracks of Pride of Africa was written while feeling for others and the many complex situations that flood our media.
Now, as a soul and jazz soloist, I perform international cover songs from legendary divas such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Bette Middler, Natalie Cole, and many more.
Beside soul and jazz I am also performing pop and gospel songs. As with many things in life variety is an enrichment and I am proud and pleased about this wide span.
Singing is my passion, and my passion is my life...
